Isaiah 46:1-4

"The images that are carried about are burdensome, a burden for the weary. They stoop and bow down together; unable to rescue the burden, they themselves go off into captivity." Isaiah 46:1-2

This is a lot like me. I have knelt down before God and asked to relieve this burden, but never put it into action. I continued to do the same things and "go back into captivity." In which I believe God responds to this with:

"Listen to me, house of Jacob, whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you." Isaiah 46:3-4

In these verses, God is saying He is always there for me. So, I need to change my actions and thought process to be able to relieve this burden, and give my entire self to God Himself.
